Before ever picking up a guitar, Andy was obsessed with Star Wars and video games. Drawing from classic pieces, Transmissions showcases Andy Kahrs’ signature slide guitar, reimagining iconic themes with a blues-soaked roots sound.

The first release, John Williams’ ‘Binary Sunset’, from Star Wars (1977), is now streaming on all platforms, and has been viewed nearly 500k times across social media and streaming platforms.

Andy’s version of ‘Zelda’s Lullaby’, released in 2026, features the iconic Nintendo melody originally heard in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991).
