Slide Guitar and Open Tuning lessons (online)

A tone and touch-centered approach

Slide guitar is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. It got me hooked on music 20 years ago, and now I help others break through the noise and develop their own slide voice rooted in blues, roots, and americana.

Whether you’re completely new to slide, or looking to become a more intentional and expressive player, these lessons are focused, practical, and tailored to your interests.

What you’ll learn

• Proper slide technique (muting, intonation, and control)
• Open tuning approaches
• Songs - slide classics like Elmore James and The Allman Brothers Band
• Blues phrasing and vocal-style slide lines
• Touch, dynamics, and right-hand approach

Who are these lessons for?

  • Guitarists curious about slide but unsure where to start

  • Players stuck with noisy or out-of-tune technique

  • Blues, roots, folk, and Americana players

  • Songwriters looking for new inspiration
